Burial in the Minersville Cemetery under the direction of the Olpin Mortuary. Flowers cared for by Minersville Relief Society. David Alma Tanner, 96, died November 1, 1977 in Milford Valley Memorial Hospital of causes incident to age. Mr. Tanner was born Nov. 6, 1880, Holden, Millard County, Utah to Ebeneze rand Mary Ann Bigler Tanner. He married Henrietta Broadhead -Payne, October 8, 1903 in the Salt LakeLJ3.S. Temple. She died May 1934. A son, David Allen, died in 1941. He married Inez Parsons July 14, 1941. She died June 4, 1957. He retired from the Union Pacific Railroad in 1951. Survivors: son and daughters; daugh-ters; Ralph J., Huntington Beach, Calif.; Mrs. Warren (Lillian) Atkin, Milford; Mrs. LaMoine (Ethel) Lewis, Ogden, Utah; 11 grandchildren; grandchil-dren; 32 great-grandchildren; and 12 great -greatgrandchildren. Program: conducting, Bishop Sheldon Albrecht; family prayer, Michael D. Nay; prelude and postlude music, Edna Nichols; opening open-ing prayer, Shirl Nichols; musical duet, "Beyond the Sunset", Shirlene Barnes, Gladys Whittaker, accom -panied by Marge Mecham; obituary, Ira M. Honorary Honor-ary pallbearers were the High Priests from the Beaver Bea-ver Stake. Flowers were cared for by the First Ward Relief Society. Funeral services were held Friday, November 4, 1977 in the LDS Chapel. Burial was in the Milford City Cemetary under the direction of Olpin Mortuary. |
