Show OBITUARY to , i 1 I i ,1 Alfa Perkins Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 7, in the Milford WardChapel, for Alta "Sarge" Thorley Per- , kins, 55, Milford, who died July 1, 1976, in the University Univer-sity of Utali Medical Center of leukemia. Mrs. Perkins was born June 7, 1921, in Cedar City to Marton C . and Rachel Harris Har-ris Thorley. She married Homer Ray Gibson, July 23, 1946, Kansas City, Kansas; divorced. She married Jesse Ray Perkins, November 1, 1951, Pioche, Nevada. Mrs. Perkins was a member mem-ber of the IDS Church, active ac-tive worker in Little League Baseball, 17 years; waitress, bus driver. Survivors: husband, J. R. Perkins, Milford; two daughters, daugh-ters, Sharon Sanders, Mrs. Dennis (Bonnie) Hardy; two sons, David, Jesse, all Milford; Mil-ford; three stepsons, Ray, San Bernadino, Calif.; Jay, U.S. Air Force, Germany; Ken, Arizona; five grandchildren; grand-children; parents, Cedar City; four sisters, Mrs. Jene (Florence) Baird, Henderson, Hender-son, Nev.; Elliott Thorley, Mrs. S. W. (pat) Heyborne, Mrs. Walley (Hellen Rae) Flannigan, all Cedar City; one brother, David H., Scottsdale, Arizona. Interment was in the Cedar City Cemetery under the direction di-rection of Metcalf Southern Utah Mortuary. |
