Mrs. Coon was born Sept. 1, 1902 at Greenville Utah, to Oliver Ol-iver and Sarah Jae Fdwards' Martin. She married Kimmel B. Coon on September 23, 1925 in Beaver. She was a?tive in the church serving as secretary in various church organi7ations. Relief Society So-ciety teacher ard member of the singing mothers choral group. She belonged to the Ladies Auxiliary of Brotherhood of Locomotive Firemen and Engineers, En-gineers, Old Timers Auxiliary, ard was a Past President of Lady Firemen. She attended school at Mur-dock Mur-dock Academy and Milford High School. Survivors besides her husband hus-band are sons, Blair Coon of LaMirada, Calif, and Herbert Coon of Milford. Three sisters, Mrs. Cora Jones, Milford; Mrs. Pearl Thiessen, Ely, Nev. and Mrs. Lillian Williams, Greenville. Green-ville. Bishop Richard L. Jones officiated in the L.D.S. Chapel. Burial was in the Milford cemetery. cem-etery. Street Decorations Mr.s Norman Lamb report that some of the street decorations decor-ations for the 29th, were donated don-ated by Ashton Buick of Provo and Tri-State Motors in Cedar City. Much time and effort was put in by the committee to make Milford presentable to the Governor. |
