Show MRS. MARGARET BLACKNER DIES IN SALT LAKE Margaret Murdock Blackncr, 74, of Greenville, died Mondiy at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Shirley Bradford, in Salt Lake, of natural causes. She was born Aug. 5, 1893, at Palisade, Nebr., to Orrice Francis and Celesta Caroline Sailors Murdock. She married ; James Walter Blackner Oct. 4, 1916, in the Salt Lake Temple. He died in 1965. She was an active membsr of the LDS Church, serving as president of the Relief Society and in other organizations. She is . survived by a son, Walter Maurice, Greenville; five daughters, Mrs. Mitchiil (Pauline) Stoddard, Mrs. John E. (Doragene) Bailey, both of Milford; Mrs. Dale R. (Winnie) Street, Centerville; Mrs. James D. (Shirley) Bradford and Mrs. Ted B. (Celeste) Covington, of Salt Lake; 32 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; and a brother, Orrice Murdock of Vancouver, Wash., now serving an LDS mission in South Carolina. Caro-lina. Funeral services are scheduled sched-uled for 2 p. m. today (Thursday), (Thurs-day), in Greenville. Interment will be in the Greenville Cemetery. |
