Show SERVICES HELD FOR GRANT ANDERS,ON . Mr. and Mrs. Robert Tomsik and Mr. and Mrs. Clark Goodwin Good-win attended funeral services in. Cypress, Calif., July 9, for Grant Anderson. Mr. Tomsik was a speaker at the services, which were attended at-tended by many former Milford Mil-ford residents. Mr. Anderson, 52, died July 6 of a heart attack in Las Vegas. He was on his way to work when he was stricken. He was a Union Pacific brakeman. Mr. Anderson was born June 19, 1914, in Elsinore, to Christian Chris-tian Marion and Carline Jensen Jen-sen Anderson. He married Rachel (Rae) Horton, July 1, 1935, in Los Angeles. He attended West High School in Salt Lake, where he was an outstanding' athlete. He began his railroad career with the Nevada Northern Railroad, and was employed by the Union Pacific for 23 years. He lived in Milford about 15 years, moving to California in 1960. Surviving are his widow, two sons and a daughter, Gary and Gale Enderson and Mrs. Frank itLinda) Zavadel, also six grandchildren; brothers Melvin, Bud, Verl and Earl, and sisters Eloise Whiting, Bea Dunckley, Blanche Passey, Hope Herman-sen, Herman-sen, and a twin sister, Grace Tucker. |
