Show Military Services Held For Orrin C. Goodwin Funeral services were conducted con-ducted in the Milford Chapel Tuesday at 1 p.m. for prrin Cooper Goodwin, 73 who died Saturday on a Milford street of a heart attack. Orrine Cooper Goodwin, 73, Milford, deid Saturday noon on a Milford street of a heart attack. Born Oct. 31, 1888, in Beaver, to Albert and Mary Cooper Goodwin. Retired farmer, miner. Veteran, World War 1. Survivors: 14 nephews, eight nieces. Funeral Tuesday, 1. p.m. Milford Ward Chapel, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The prayer at the mortuary was by Max Baker. Prelude and postlude organ music was by Mrs. Edna Nichols. Nich-ols. The funeral was under the direction of Richard Leon Jones The services were as follews: Opening prayer, Shirl Nichols; Solo, "Prayer of Perfect" by Jesse Long, accompanied by Mrs. Barbara Walquist; Obituary, Obitu-ary, John Ashworth; a talk by Ira M. Fisher; Solo, "Abide with Me," Duard Nay, accompanied accom-panied by Mrs. Florence Beard; closing prayer, David Farmer. George C. Goodwin conducted conduc-ted the yraveside services. Ray ted the graveside services. Ray Burial was in the Mt. View Cemetary where the American Legion also conducted a service The American flag was presented presen-ted to John Ashworth, a nephew. ne-phew. Pall bearers were: Myron and Melvin Persons, Dan and Glenn Rollins, Claude Horton and Bill Goodwin. |
