Show Dee Patterson Dies of Sudden Heart Attack Funeral services were held in Beaver Bea-ver Wednesday afternoon for Dee Patterson, 56, who died of a heart attack baiurday night at a polio beneiit dance in the local IOOF hall. i Mr. Patterson was in charge of the record player at the dance and had turned from changing a record when he suffered the attack. It was about 11 o'clock when this occurred and it was some time before be-fore a doctor could be summoned. In the meantime, artificial respiration res-piration was attempted by Hal Smith and others but without results. re-sults. Mr. Patterson, a son of Thomas 0. and Margaret Davis Patterson, was born and raised in Beaver. He was owner of the local Dairy Queen confectionery stand and also was employed on the county road system. He was a past noble grand of the local IOOF lodge and a member of the LDS Church.
