Show Charles M Lindsay Charles Mathew Lindsay, 74 lifelong resident of Beaver, died .of a heart ailment at 3:30 p. m. Thursday. Impressive funeral services were held Saturday afternoon in the Beaver Third Ward Chapel, under direction of Bishop Bish-op Walter JCerk,siek, who announced an-nounced the following program: Invocation, Wallace Yardley; musical numbers by a male quartet, Sherman Carter, Carl Farnsworth, Kent Morgan and Frank Smith; violm solo, Linda Prince, and duet, Esta Cox and Anona Swindlehurst. Speakers were Joseph A. Manzione, Ira Yardley, and George C. Murdock. Marvin Spendlove pronounced pronounc-ed the benediction, and the prayer at the home, preceding the services, was offered by Milton Gentry. Anthony Wood-house Wood-house dedicated the grave in Mountain View Cemetery. Pallbearers were five sons or the deceased, Jim, Mickey, uan, Charles and Patrick, and a son in law, Roy Yardley. Flower girls were grana-daughters, grana-daughters, with Ruby Grim-shaw, Grim-shaw, Sara Yardley and Ellen Joseph in charge. Mr. Lindsay was born in beaver bea-ver June 11, 1883, a son of James Robert and Alice Wood-house Wood-house Lindsay. He married Cera Briggs at Beaver Sept. 30, 1907. . . He engaged in the mining business. . .. Surviving are his widow; five sons and four daughters: James D Lindsay, Venice, Calif.; John R. (Mickey) Lindsay, Price; Dan Lindsay, Cedar City; Charles Patrick Lindsay and Mrs. Mildred Mil-dred Yardley, Beaver; Mrs. Marion Robinson, Culver City, Calif ' Mrs. Norma Fantillo, Malibu, Calif.; Mrs. Virginia Cassidy, Topanga, Canyon, Cal. Also surviving are 20 grand-. grand-. children, one sister and three brothers. |
