Show Emma Edwards Dies Mrs. Emma R. Edwards, 81, died in a Cedar City hospital Thursday, Thurs-day, April 30, at 2:32 p.m. after a short illness. She was born September Sep-tember 3, 1877, at Greenville to William and Elizabeth Williams Richards and was married to William Wil-liam R. Edwards October 11, 1895, in Paragonah, the marriage later being solemnized in the St. George LDS Temple. Mr. Edwards died September 7, 1941. Survivors are sons Claude, Cedar Ce-dar City; Merrill and Gerald, Salt ' Lake City; Cecil, Provo; and Harold, Har-old, Milford; and daughters Gladys, Glad-ys, Paragonah; Mrs. T. C. Him-street Him-street and Mrs. Leo Beagley, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Faye Duke, Ogden; and Mrs. Claude Dix, Cedar City; also 26 grandchildren, 20 greatgrandchildren; great-grandchildren; and one brother. Milford resident attending the funeral in Paragonah Saturday at 2 o'clock were Mr. and Mrs. Harold Har-old Edwards and family, Mr. and Mrs. William, Ashworth, Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Johnson, Mrs. Frank White, Mrs. Paul Whiteside, Mrs. Carl Yount, Mr. and Mrs. Morgan Griffiths, Mrs. Katherine Heslington, Mrs. Kent Smith, and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Elmer. Mrs. Truman Bradfield of Minersville also attended. Burial took place in the Paragonah Para-gonah cemetery. |
