Show Busy good mm WORKSTARTS County Commissioners In 3-Day Session and Do Things FARM BUREAU TO HAVE COMMODIOUS COM-MODIOUS QUARTERS IN COURT HOUSE Mr. H. E. Diehl appeared be- fore the board and asked to have the available Forest Re- serve Fund money spent on the Beaver Canyon road. The amount was about $330.04. The board ordered it spent there and instructed Mr. Delhi to oversee the work under the direction of George Valentine, the local road supervisor. Several names, were added to the indigent list of Beaver county. It was ordered that after the 10th of April no bounty should be paid on Musk Rats, Sparrows and Squaks. The bounty for the other animals as provided by the state law will begin be-gin on the 8th day of May. The board instructed the clerk to pay the demands from the other counties for transient sheep grazed in this county. It was ordered that hereafter all county officers, when putting in bills for meals while on duty shall not exceed 50 cents per meal. Mr. Nephi Williams, of Beaver, is re-appointed fruit and bee inspector, for the year J 917. The board gave permission for the county farm bureau to establish its office in the court room of the county coun-ty court house. There they may have a couple of desks and tables for their literature, jind can meet all visitors and transact business and hold their meetings. The board adjusted matters pertaining per-taining to repair work on the state roads and dictated a letter to the state road commission asking them to cooperate with the county board in immediate construction work and repair work in the county. Tho board proposes to borrow some mon ey until taxes come in in the fall for this purpose. Three days continuous session was held, from Monday, April 2 to Wednesday the 4th inclusive. |
