Show - BRANCH A. C. NOTES We were favored last week by a visit from Dr. Peterson, the president presi-dent of the A. C, who gave us an excellent and most impressive talk on self control. Our last Lyceum number, the noted not-ed Bulgarian Orchestra, headed by Professor Schildkret, given us on Thursday was the greatest treat of the season. The music was especially especial-ly interesting, since choice bits from the great operas were mingled with popular and patriotic airs in a most pleasing manner. The B. A. C. Dramatic Club presented pre-sented last week, "Tommy's Wife," and the "Iron County Farmer," both of which proved to be something unusual. un-usual. Many of the cast showed a marked ability. Friday, April 6, was the big annual an-nual "claen-up day" and the weather wea-ther was ideal and the day was enjoyed en-joyed as much as if it was a real spring holiday. - The Junior Chapel last Thursday was splendid and appreciated, especially es-pecially the burlesque on the chorus class. We also give the Juniors credit for the - publishing of the March number of the "Student" that brings to view much of the Junior's talent. . The track squadis in full swing and is making a wonderful showing. We feel that the B. A. C. will carry off a considerable portion of the honors at the coming state meet. |
