Show UNIFY OUR PRODUCTION The Farm Bureau is trying to I standardize the county's agricultural production to inane our products in greater demand and to enable us to get a larger price by having uniformity uniform-ity in the things we have to sell. In order to have sufficient quantities to ship out to the best advantage it is necessary for us all to co-operate in this movement. It is, therefore, essential es-sential that we raise the same kind of products so that there will be uniformity uni-formity when we market them. The Farm Bureau recommends the following: New Zealand vyheat, six row barley, Russet potatoes,. White Leghorn chickens, the Bronze turkeys tur-keys and fauroc Jersey hogs. Because of conflicting opinions among our farmers we recommend further: for beef cattle, 1st, Hereford; Here-ford; 2nd, Shorthorn; for draft horses, 1st, Percheron;2nd, Belgian. We say raise the breed of dairy cattle cat-tle you like the best. They have all had the highest record. The thing we are certain about is, Dairying will Pay the Best. In a following issue of the News we will tell you why the last statement is true. (!) : |
