Show Dudley Gillies of Beaver was brought back from Calieilte this week when leaving the State under suspicious circumstances. Mr. Gillies Gil-lies has been handling large sums of money for a &rxn of sheep buyers and it is claimed that his accounts are not in satisfactory condition. The young man claims that he can explain everything satisfactorily and his bond was fixed at $2,500 to give him . the. opportunity. When Mr. Gillies left Milford he stated that he was going to Lund to Took at some sheep." It was Sheriff Fotheringham who first suspected that Mr. Gillies was not intending to stop at Lund, and sure enough he was found on the train at Caliente and escorted back to Milford. |
