Show UTAH PRODUCTS WEEK WILL BE CELEBRATED November 19th to the 25th Period to be Observed Local Merchants Should Decorate and Display Utah Products in Windows As a feature of the Utah Products Week to be held from Nobember 19 to 25. the principal of the Beaver County High School has arranged with Mr. John Clayton of Salt Lake City, who is an able speaker and enthusiastic en-thusiastic about the opportunities which Utah offers young people, to visit the school and talk to the student stu-dent body. It is expected that the merchants of Milford and other towns in Beaver county will join in the Utah Products movement by decorating deco-rating their windows with Utah made goods and put the products of the local factories generally to the front. Grcattr enthusiasm is being manifested mani-fested in Utah Products Week this year than ever before. The movement move-ment is designed to encourage home industry and point out the opportuni-ties opportuni-ties which exist in the different communities com-munities of the state for new enterprises. enter-prises. It has been endorsed by the leading lead-ing commercial organizations in the leading cities and towns, by the state superintendent of public instruction, by county and city superintendents of schools, by the state federation of women's clubs and by the leading ministers of the denominational churches, as well as the presiding Bishopric of the Mormon qhurch. The latter organization has officially official-ly endorsed the movement by sending send-ing letters to the bishops in the state, suggesting to them that the services on Sunday, November 19, be devoted to the subject of home industry. One of the big features of the week will be the work to be done in the schools. R. R. Eardley, secretary of the Manufacturer's Association of Utah, has received scores of requests for speakers from schools in every part of the state, and arrangements have practically been completed to supply the number of speakers requested. re-quested. Among the schools to which speakers will be sent free are the University of Utah, the Agricultural Agricul-tural college of Logan, all the schools of Salt Lake, including the East and West High Schools. The L. D. S. University, Uni-versity, St, Mary's Academy, all the schools of Ogden, including the Og-den Og-den High School and Weber Stake Academy; all the schools of Utah county and Provo including the Brig-ham Brig-ham Young University and Provo Hugh School; the Granite High School. Grantsvilie High School, schools of the Tintic district, Park City High School, the Tooele High School, Beaver High School, Mur-cloek Mur-cloek Academy, Beaver; all the schools of Millard county; s'ephi High School, the Snow Academy of Ephriani, all of the schools of Seviet county, including the high schools of Richfield, Monroe and Salina; Price and Carbon County schools, including includ-ing the Price High School; Davis County School, including Kaysville High School. The merchants of the different towns are also taking a decided interest, in-terest, in Utah Products Week. It is expected that most of the stores will decorate their windows with Utah made goods, and put the products of the local factories generally to the front . Window posters announcing the week have been prepared and will ho used in connection with the window win-dow display. A number of the commercial clubs have arranged to give a Utah Pro-duels Pro-duels dinner using special features in connection with the work of the organizations.
