Dec was born on February 29, 1912 in Salina, Utah. She moved in Milford in 1926. After a brief time in Idaho, she returned to Milford in 1936 where she met and married Dan Ferguson on August 2 1 , 1 936. Dee has lived in her home on main street for 6 1 years. Dee's five children - Robert Davis of Milford, Gary Ferguson of Reno, Nev., Betty McDonald of Cedar City, Luciel Hardy of Milford and Mickie Thomas of Milford were raised in the family home. In addition to her five children, Dee has 2 1 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren and 6 great-gregrandchildren. Over the many years living on main Street, her home has been open to everyone who needed a meal and a night's lodging. Her home was used as a voting registration and polling place for many years. Dee says of her life, "I did my absolute best to raise my children - they continue to be the highest priority of my life." Her husband Dan, died in December of 1978. In spite of many illnesses and surgeries in recent years, Dec continues as a cheerful example of the best values and qualities of family life. She loves Milford and enjoys visiting with friends and neighbors. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!! February 21. 1997 The meeting was called to order by Chairperson Loretta Forman at 8:05 p.m.. Loretta welcomed everyone there and thanked the electoral judges, Gina Mayer, Glays Whittaker and Pat Nelson for helping vyith the election of officers and 'Michelle Barton for filling in to do Ihe minutes.
