Vehicle use continues to be allowed needed. While I'm on the subject......... When did our country become a garbage dump for whoever feels like tossing bottles, cans and other refuse out of a car window? Most of this refuse is not biodegradable and on existing roads. ATVs and snowmobiles can tear up the soil and kill the new plants. They also make tracks for others to follow, which in turn will increase erosion and plant kill. Volunteers from Milford, in cooperation with B. L. M., are placing signs near the seeding to remind people the area is still fragile and use is restricted until the plants are well established. therefore must be picked up by a person or persons. Mother Nature cannot absorb this into the environment. The road ditches between here and Minersville are overloaded with people's thoughtless habits With out being cleaned up by someone, these cans and bottles would pile up and could be used as snow fences in years to come. This is why littering fines are very high. I have known a couple persons who have been caught throwing cans out of their car window, were ticketed by the police to the tune of $2000.00 This is meant as a future deterrent tor these same people and their littering friends. Keep a garbage bag in your car and take it home to your own garbage can. From what I see, there are more pigs around than those raised by Circle 4. If THE SHOE FITS WEAR IT! BY THE WAY....... What we prevent.......needs no cure. /s/ Jewel Dahl a naturally functioning rangeland takes cooperation from the agency that protects the watershed, and the people that want to use the land.
