I’m not sure who has time this time of year | @ Car Repairs _@ Home Improvements to be bored but there it is on . the calendar, “Anti-Boredom Month.” A few weeks back, I heard a news report saying the Surgeon General wants to put a “Warning” on all exercise equipment, similar to the one on cigarette packages. The label would read; “Regular exercise prolongs a happy, healthy life.” One of the commentators brought up a good point. Why should such a label be put on exercise equipment, why a “warning”? The person buying such equipment already knows the “risks”. (Actually the label should be placed on couches, television and remote controls. That way, those who need it © will see the “warning” ) Anyway exercise is a very good way to decrease stress and boredom.
