The actual commitment of Milford City to pay its portion of the costs of Improvements is subject to the availability of funds and compliance with budget approval The estimated property owner's costs include a reasonable ellowance for construction contingencies and an allowance of approximately fifteen percent to be assessed for administrative, legal and other (15) of the base amount costs in connection with the assessments, the issuance of bonds and bond interest, except that interest may be ebeted by prepayment as explained hereafter The property owners portion of the total estimated cost of the improvements may be financed during the construction period by the use of interim warrants. A Savannah, Georgia, man was arrested by a Sheriffs Deputy and booked into jail on charges of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and Criminal Mischief. Theft from High Country 76 was reported. A report of a theft from a vehicle resulted in two juveniles being transported to Juvenile Detention in Cedar City. Other juveniles involved will be referred to Juvenile Court. A Beaver man was arrested and booked into jail on charges of Intoxication A Misdemeanor Theft is under investigation School. at Beaver High The TriMart Chevron, Beaver, reported a gas skip of $57.50. The suspect vehicle was not located. A bicycle was reported stolen in beaver. A Beaver man was arrested and booked into jail on charges of Intoxication and Criminal Mischief. An incident of Criminal Mischief is under investigation in Beaver. Utah Highway Patrol arrested a man and a woman from Denver, Colorado. The costs may be adjusted for the expense of publication, mailing, bond issuance costs, interest during construction, and other administrative expanses essential to interim and permanent financing of the District costs If the actual coat of improvements or the actual coat of any combination of improvements in the Rates set out above exceed the eetimsAed cost, the City Council shall nevertheless have the right to levy assessments in excess of the estimated costs. Including ell assessments authorized by law and those described in BASIS FOR ASSESSMENT hereinafter 11 BASIS FOR ASSESSMENT The method for determining the necessary number of protests to cause abandonment of the proposed district shall be by linear footage included in the District or Areas within the District as related to the Calculation of linear footage represented by written protests as a proportion of the total lineartaotage within the District or Area. The Protest Rate for determining the necessary number of protests to require abandonment of the District or an Area of the District ("Protest Rate') shall be determined by totaling the length of abutting property in ownership of persons filing written protests and if fifty (50) per cent or mote of the linear front footage is represented by owners filing protests, then the proposed District or Area within the District shall be abandoned. After the written Protest Rate has been determined, the Governing Body may, at its discretion, delete areas from the District At the time of creation of the District, the written protests of property owners in any area not included in the District will not be used in determining the Protest Rate. The Governing Body will rescind its intention to create the District or Area within the District if protests have been timely filed representing (12) or more of the linear footage to be assessed after elimination from such filed Protests (i) protests relating to property which has bean deleted from the District and (ii) protests which have been withdrawn in writing prior to the conclusion of the hearing. He was booked into jail on charges of Possession of Marijuana and Paraphernalia. Three traffic accidents were investigated by the Sheriffs Department, each involving only property damage. Responses were made to 69 requests for assistance. Of these calls, four were to keep the peace, 33 were to check out or suspicious persons circumstances and 25 were to assist other agencies. Beaver County Letter to Milford Valley Hospital Patrons Based on our recent doctor situation, we feel that it is important to reiterate to our OB patients that routine OB services currently are not available at our facility. Prenatal workup will, however, be continued to be offered at the Clinic. Emergency services will be available 24 hours per day 7 days per week, routine OB services will again be available in the near future. During tliis interim of time, we have made arrangement with the physicians in Beaver and in Cedar City to see our patients. Please call our clinic if you would like a referral.
