Whitney of Bancroft came down and took Bob for a ride in a plane from the Brigham airport. 3-- YOUNG FARMERS TO "PAINT UP" FOR 1947 The Young Farmers of the valley met Wednesday' evening at the high school to consider their major activities for the year. In the discussion a number of topics were considered, but "Painting up for '47", was accepted as the major activity. Jay Holmgren, Chester Atkinson, and Day Garfield were elected as committee to head the Young Farmer paint program. A special meeting has been called for Wednesday, March 6, at 8 p. m. in the high school Ag room by Keith Anderson, president of the local unit. The meeting is for the purpose of paint demonstrations, learning paint values, and estimating the amount of paint needed and savings which might be derived by purchasing SIMADA STUDY CLUB MEETS The Simada Study club met Wednesday evening at the home of Mrs. Irene Morris. The subject of Egyptian worship was given by Mrs. Steven Hales and was presented by Mrs. Jack Shumway. Refreshments were served by the hostess following a discussion on the lesson.
