Circus tent here Wednesday evening' when a splendid array of trained animals and daredevil acrobats and trapeeze performers kept the audience gasping as they performed. The Russell Bros, circus is an eastern organization and one of America's largest show that is making its tour of the west. The tent that holds their performance has a seating capacity of 6,500 people, with a of 500 workers, performers, and technicians, comprising a miniature city consisting of its own physicians, attorneys, barbers, blacksmiths, mechanics, electricians, carpenters and other tradesmen. Outstanding features of the two-hoperformance was Bob Fisher and his Five Fearless Fliers, who kept the g spectators breathless in their and perilous flights through the air, turning double and triple somersaults in mid air before grasping the wrists of his partner. To be out of time a fraction of a second would mean a fall. The climax was a double backward somersault from the flying bar to his catcher's hands while completely blindfolded. who Buddy, the talking performed almost like human, ard the six Lelands, teeterboard acrobats and tight rope walkers, who not only walk ed, but ran, somersaulted and performed all manner of stunts on the thin rope, were also high lights of the show. All of the animals were highly trained and performed beautifully. It was altogether a high class performance, with no fakes or ballyhoo, conducted strictly in a business-lik-e manner and performed as advertised, with not a poor act in the show. The people of this community will welcome a return engagement of the Russell Bros, circus whenever they see fit to return. in-it- al per-son- el ur sea-lio- n g'n-- FASHION REVUE BOXING CONTEST -- 7:30 P.
