Anderson of Bear River City, celebrated their first wedding anniversary Sunday at thtir home here, open house being held from 2 p. m. to 5 p. m. Mr. Anderson was born Aug. 22, j 1854 in Denmark, and came to Bear River City in 1869. He was one of the first to carry freight by wagons from Ogden and Corinne into Montana and Oregon. He has engaged In farming here for many years. He is an active member of the Bear River L. D. S. ward, being a high priest. Mrs. Andersen was born in Denmark, June 17, 1860, and came to Utah in 1866, crossing the plains with an ox cart company. She lived at Brigham city for a year and then came to Bear River City. She was a teacher in the Relief Society of the Bear River L. D. S. ward for 10 years and a class leader in the primary for six years. Mr. and Mrs. Anderson were married in the Salt Lake Endowment house, November 1, 1875. They are the parents of 11 children, six of whom are still living. They also have 35 grandchildren and 11 sixty-- Margaret Jenkins left Wednesday for an indefinite visit in the state qf Washington. She accompanied Mr. and Mrs. W. S. Flewelling of Ogden. Beal Funeral Services Held For Alice Ray, 8, Wed. Funeral services for Alice Ray, 8 year old daughter of Joseph and Laura Cook Ray, of Thatcher ward, who died Sunday following a brief illness, were held Wednesday ' afternoon in the Thatcher ward chapel under the direction of Bishop T. E. Adams. The speakers were A. W. Borgs-troVernon Rhodes, Arthur Allen, President C. E. Smith and Bishop Adams. Special music was rendered by Dr. D. B. Green, a violin solo; a vocal solo by Mrs. C. Q. Eldrege, and two songs by her playmates. Interment was made in Tremonton cemetery, Shaw & Iverson funeral directors. , She is survived by her parents, two sisters and a brother, Irva, Doris and Ray, all of Thatcher.
