JeJ McKay and fam- ily of Huntsvil'e, Utah, spent Sunday visiting in this city with Mrs. McKay's mother, Mrs. Boletta Fetersen. Taylor and new baby boy arrived home Wednesday evening from-th- e Dee Hospital in Ogden, where the new baby arrived Aug. 1st. Wm. J. Rose had the misfortune to fall last Monday evening while trying to get the chickens in the coop, and in falling sustained a very bad injury to his right knee tearing the legiments loose and twisting the knee cap out of place. He has been confined to his bed for several days but is now able to sit up. Mr. and Mrs. C. 0. Andersen and children of Bothwell, Mr. and Mrs. Car rol Hall and baby and Mrs. Augusta Iversen spent Sunday in Portage, Utah as the euests of Mr. and Mrs. A. T, Hall. Mrs. Orsen Christensen and two sons of Salt Lake City, are visiting at the home of Mrs. Trena Chnstenen. Mr. and Mrs. Fred F. Petersen, Mrs. Mary Ipson and Mrs. Sarah M. Fridal were Brigham visitors on Monday. Saturday evening forty three of the mutual girls who had spent three days at the girls home, Belymia, in Box Elder canyon, returned home after having had a very enjoyable time, Those in charge of the girls were, Mrs. Iretta Campbell, Mrs. Florence Gardner, Mrs. Alice Jensen and Misa Lei a Jensen. Mrs. Alfred Jensen is visiting in Og den with relatives. Joyce, the twelve year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Merrell Wankier, who has been confined to his bed for ten weeks with blood poisoning, is now able to be dressed and sit out of doors in a chair. Mr. Cyril Wright and children of Ogden, were the dinner guests of Mr, and Mrs. Victor N. Perry Spackman spent the week end with friends in Salt Lake City. August 7th at the conjoint meeting of theM. J, A., a pioneer program was presented. Those taking part were Mrs. Etta Gardner, Bishop M. G. Perry, Stake Board Member Geo. Nye, Mrs. Parley Christensen. Duet, Mrs. H. A. Lish and Mrs. Albert Thorsen; quartejtte, Emma and Genevive Gardner and Edith and Lydia Marble; slogan by Norman Perry. Mr .and Mrs. Henry Nielsen of Brigham City, visited at the home of Mr. and" Mrs. 'N. P. Marble Tuesday. Mrs, Tona rainier and Mrs. Leon May visited Thursday at the home of Pencil Mrs. L. S. Wheatley. Mrs. Edna Loveland and Mrs. Bert Staggtes '.of Salt Lake, visited relatives here the week end. Mrs., William Lasley of Honeyville, and Mrs. Jane Stohl of Logan, were visiting Mr. and Mrs. M. A. Lish. Charles, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Norr, is recovering from an operation for appendicitis at the Valley Hospital at Tremonton. M. Hashamotlo and family and F. L. Hoary, were visiting Jepanese friends in Ogden Saturday. Mrs. Irvin Stohl and children of Tremonton, and Miss Dora Hunsaker of Corinne, were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Cleone Hunsaker. Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Barnard were visiting Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Weidman of Bear Kiver City. Lawrence Christensen, Walter, Geo,, and William Fererson enjoyed a few days on a fishing tnp in Logan can yon. Mrs. Lawrence Christensen and son visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Irvine Summers in Bothwell. Mr. and Mrs. Louis Knudson, of Portage, were visiting Sunday at the Home or Mr. ana Mrs. Frank Germer. A splendid time was enjoyed by members of our ward at the social and swim at the Crystal Springs Tuesday afternoon and evening, under the direction of the M. I. Ak and Sunday School. Mr. C. Evans and children of American Falls, Idaho, are visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Chris Hansen. Co. Fair and Rodeo, Sept. PeEsta Holmgren returned Tuesday evening from California, where she has been attending summer school. She reports having a pleasant time and as enjoying her studies there.
