Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Gunnell, Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Wood, and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Shriber, attended the funeral services of Hess C Nelson, Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. 0. M. Munlc and children spent Friday and Saturday at Logan. Miss Lola Gunnell spent Tuesday and Wednesday, at Stone, as the guests of Miss Norma Eliason. Gunnell and family, and Mr. and Lynn Wood and daughter, Doris, attended the Gunnell reunion which was held at Logan, Wednesday. Ehrood 1 ! - -- I June Larsen is home after attending Boxelder high at Brigham City, the past winter. She spent last week at the home of Miss Regina Jensen. Mr. and Mrs. Ira Andersen went to Preston on Decoration Day. They ware accompanied by their son Lester, and Phinex Christensen. Mr. and Mrs. Figgot and children of Salt Lake, accompanied them back and stayed until Sunday. Miss Luby Rasmussen and her friend Valene Petersen, of Salt Lake City, spent the week-en- d visiting with H. P. Rasmussen. Miss Gladys Hunsaker returned from the Central (States mission, Sunday morning where she has been laboring for nearly two years. She is happy to be home especially as her mother is in poor health. Mr. and Mrs. Hunsaker and daughter, Gladys, went to Salt Lake City Monday morning to see a specialist. Mrs. Hansen is reported feeling better. The ward welcomes Gladys home. Mr. and Mrs. Erwim Miller and sons of Logan spent the week-en- d visiting Mr. and Mrs. Elias Andersen. Mrs. Angeline Hansen is spending the week visiting her daughter, Mrs. Elias Andersen. Rex Hunsaker, of Logan, visited over the week-en- d with his uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Elias Andersen. The Sunday evening program was excellent, 26 young men each giving sketchs of the lives of the leaders of the L. D. S. church. The musical part was rendered by Mr. Kirkham of Garland, and his orchestra of ten pieces, and Mr. and Mrs. Gardner, and Mrs. Margaret Johnsen of Bear River City. The Primary are now holding their meetings on Wednesday at 3:30 p. .m. Please remember this children. Dewain Frank met with a very painful accident last Friday on the road by Wellsville. He was on a motorcycle and collided with another motorcycle, Dewain being thrown to the pavement, rendering him unconscious. He is at his home in Logan with a very painful ankle. Marion Miller is very sick due to the bite of a sheep tick. Howard Larsen is visiting with his cousin, Harold Hansen, at the home of R. P. Hansen. At the Relief Society work and business meeting next Tuesday, oilcloth, cushions and door stoppers will be made. All those who desire to make those things should bring the necessary material. n Norman Andreasen and Pearl went to Panguish, Saturday to visit Emma Henry. They all took a trip to Zions National Park and Bryce Canyon, returning Tuesday. They report a delightful time. J. A. Bettensen of Circleville returned to hia home Wednesday. He was accompanied as far as Salt Lake City by his daughter, Mrs. Eva Farns-wort- h and Dr. and Mrs. T. E. Beten-se- n of Garland. Mrs. Cooper Haffield and Mrs. W. L. Apgood, of Salt Lake City were the week-enand Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. N. Garn. Mr .and Mrs. Lavern Wilcox of Ogden spent Wednesday with Mrs. Sophia Petersen. Mrs. Helen Burns has left for an extended visit with her daughter, Mrs. Chauncey Hess of Brigham City. Allen Cannon returned to Cedar City after spending a few days with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. D. A. Cannon. Mr. Cannon has been teaching at the B. A. C. in Cedar City during the past school year. Mrs. J. S. Mason left Saturday for Chicago to be present at the graduation exercises of their son Wilford, who has been attending a medical col d lege. Members of the Social Development club were entertained by Mrs. Frank Wood, Thursday afternoon, Mrs. Marvin Wellnig presided. An excellent program was given with Mrs. Ed. Spackman in charge, lectures were given on the theme, "Wholesome Childhood," by Miss Davidson and Miss Miller of the U. S. A. C. Mrs, Mrs. D. B. Jones a piano selection. Vera Bourne rendered a vocal solo, Vice-preside- nt Community singing was conducted by Mrs. H. L. Richards. Misses Nina and June Larsen accepted an invitation last Tuesday to join in a Sunday school party from Brigham City at the Crystal Hot Springs. They enjoyed the trip very much. Mrs. Henrietta Woodside of Ogden, spent last week visiting her mother, Mrs. Julia Jensen. Her sister, Mrs. Mathilde Rice, of Logan, also spent last week at home. Mrs. Rice is a bride of last month. She was formerly Miss Mathilde Jensen. Congratulations are given Mr. and Mrs. Rice from their many friends here. They will make their home in LoMrs. Allen Roche, of Pocatello, gan.
