Joseph Christensen motored to GarGarland-Tremonto- n land Tuesday on business. - Bear River Gty Collinston The Beaver Dam and Collinston Relief Society met in a conjoint celebration of the 17th of March at the Beaver Dam Amusement hall and are proud of their successful efforts. The most amusing feature was when eight men appeared on the stage attired in Ladies Coats and hats, and held a Relief Society officers meeting. It was sure a burlesque on the women. Dancing and a tray lunch served to over one hundred closed a very enjoyable evening. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Fryer entertained the 500 club at their home Wednesday evening, which was pleasantly spent in games and luncheon. Mr. and Mrs. Sterling Secrist won the prizes. LaMar Bowen and friends enjoyed a dancing party at Petersboro Friday night. R. A. Johnson and Joe Bowen were transacting business in Brigham, Saturday. After a pleasant visit with Mr. and Mrs. Mary Adams and daughter, Calvin Erickson, and family, turned to their home in Grace, Idaho, Sunday. Mrs. Adams is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Erickson. Kerr of Salt Lake spent a few hours with Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Bigler, before moving to Pleasant Grove, 0 where he has just purchased the farm and dairy ranch from Mr. Turner. Mrs. Anna Busenbark and son Glen, attended the sad grave side funeral services held for Mrs. Ruth Porter, age 20 at Smithfield, Friday, who died from Spinal Meningitis and pneu monia. Mrs. Porter was a niece oi Mrs. Busenbark and Mrs. Charles Hess, of Fielding. Mr. and Mrs. Charley Bishop have moved to their ranch home on the Bear River, for the summer. They were the dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Peterson, Saturday and later they all attended the theatre. Mrs. Ed Udy has been visiting her daughter, Mrs. George Forsberg of Salt Lake. The ladies of the Farm Bureau will hold a meeting Friday at 2:30 at the home of Mrs. J. O. Hadfield. Merrideth of Denver, and AyClayton Vst'aine Austin, of Salt Lake, were here on business, Thursday, of last week. Mr. and Mrs. Lorenzo Bowcutt, Sr. and Mr. and Mrs. J. O. Hadfield attended the Seventy's party at Garland Thursday evening. Thirty ladies attended the social given by the Relief Society, Thursday, at the A. A. Capener home. The retiring officers were presented with a token of respect and appreciation for the faithful work they have done. A short program was held followed by a three course luncheon.
