Miss Roberta Nicholas sang the club song "Dreaming;" a demonstration on club was led by Will a Larsen. Miss Izola Jensen, district extension agent, gave a short talk on food and its relation to health. A foods chart and foods models were used as demonstration material. Mrs. Wayne Woodland of Willard, gave a humorous reading. Wilford Porter gave a short discussion on organization and parliamentary proceedure. Following that discussion he presented accepted courtesies in social etiquette to be presented club members. to Material for club work was given ng Friday evening, April 28, at 8 p. m. club leaders 35 men and women and advisors met at the county court house. Wilford Porter of the extension service, was the guest speaker . Mrs. Sophie Nebeker, advisor for clubs in south Box Elder, acted as chairman. The program was as follows: Community singing, led by Roberta Nicholas; introduction of leaders who attended the state school, by R. H. Stewart, county agent; Mrs. Violet Jensen (Foods II), Bear River City; Miss Carma Nelson (Clothing III), Willard; William Larsen (2nd year Forestry), Willard; and DeLoy Bate (1st year Forestry) Perry. Booth of Great Falls, Montana, returend home Saturday after visiting the past week at the home of Mrs. Booth's sister, Mrs. Lei and Crystal. Mr. and Mrs. Booth, Mr .and Mrs. T. D. Holdaway and Vaudis Holda-waparents and sister of Mrs. Booth, spent the week end in Daniels, Idaho, at the home of another sister, Mrs. Ray Forsberg. Mrs. Herman Landvatter entertained the L. L. bridge club at her home Wednesday afternoon. Mrs. Eli Winzeler won the prize. Mrs. Jay M. Schaffer, Mrs. Sarah Hadley, Mrs. H. Rhode and Mrs. E. R. Winzeler were special guests. Mae Calderwood left Saturday for Bountiful to visit her sister, Mrs. Clar ence Reeves. Mrs. R. S. Calderwood returned home after spending the past two weeks there. Mr. and Mrs. B. F. Winzeler were business visitors in Salt Lake City, Wednesday. T. L. Keller of Bingham and his friends, Clyde August, Lucy Olson and Marion Hurd, were week end guests at the home of Mr. Keller's parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Keller. Karma Beck spent the week end with Mildred Stone in Brigham City. Mr .and Mrs. Gilbert Farker were Mrs. Park-er"- s Ogden visitors Tuesday. son, William Nickoliason, returned with them. Alton Beck was home from Logan for the week end. Valena Randall returned to Ogden the latter part of the week after visiting the past week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. P. Randall. Virgie Fraughten of Logan, was a week end guest of Eiiythe Gephart. Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Hoggan and daughter of Burley, Idaho, were visiting Wednesday at the home of Mrs. L. C. Christensen. Thursday they were at the home of Wallace Chris tensen to visit their son, Drummund, who has been here for the past month. Dean Musser, Helen McVivker and George Blair of Logan, were Sunday y, visitors of Edythe Gephart. Mr .and Mrs. Dan Taylor and daugh ter, May motored to Tooele, the first of the week to visit relatives and friends. They were accompanied bv Mrs. Thomas Waldron who also visited relatives there. Mrs. William Landvatter entertain ed in honor of her husband's birthday Friday evening. The guests were seat ed at small tables, where a delicious hot dinner was served, after which the tables were cleared and bunco was played the remainder of the evening.
