Mrs. Joseph Oyler had as her guests a number of neighbors who assisted in quilting, Friday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. E. S. Hansen and Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Hansen and children returned Thursday morning from Salt Lake City, where they attended a family gathering at Liberty Park, of the Oleson family of Brigham City. Fred Somers was home from his work at the U. A. C. for the week end. The Misses Eula Rhodes and Neta Cheney were in an auto accident Tuesday evening of last week, when the car in which they were riding with Messrs Mark and Theron Wood, of Garland, left the highway and skidded into the barrow pit. Miss Cheney received most injuries, having been cut ana scratched on her face and ankle. She was taken to the Valley Hospital where first assistance was given then removed to Brigham City hospital. Six stitches were taken in her face. She was brought home Friday where she is doing nicely. The young people feel thankful they were not more seriously injured and all are recovering nicely from shock anu bruises. Art Johnson left Monday for an ex- tended trip to California. Don Bjorklund, of Ogden, is visiting with his aunt, Mrs. L. M. Holman anaj other relatives. Mrs. J. M. Sorensen and daughter, Verda, motored to Logan, Monday, where Mrs. Sorensen is taking treatments for her health. Floyd Adams lost a horse Saturday with brain fever. Other horses are affected in this locality. Mrs. rm MASTERPIECE Gum-Dippe- was held Thursday afternoon of last week at the home of Mrs. E. S. Han sen. It was in the nature of a lawn party. A short but splendid and in teresting program was listened to af ter which well supervised garres were entered into by all which resulted in a very jolly time together.
