October 1st and 2nd RICHARD ARLEN IN 'SILENT BARRIERS' IRENE HERVEY IN "THE LADY FIGHTS BACK" Riverside Scouts and Scouters took a trip to timpanogis cave last weekend returning by way of Salt Lake City where they visited the State Fair and the Salt Lake airport. After a breezy early morning ride the scouts arrived at the State Capitol building, and were able to see the meeting place of the House of Representatives and the Senate. The most interesting sight there, according to the scouts, was the reception room of the Governor or the gold room, so called because of the gold in it. Journeying south to Timpanogis they made the hike to the cave. Here they saw a heart, which they knew to be a woman's because it was hard and cold. They returned and spent the night in Salt Lake. Sunday morning the scouts visited the State Fair and saw the exhibits of many varieties. Seeing planes overhead at the Fair reminded them of the airport, so they left the fair to see the airport. On arriving at the field they were fortunate enough to see three passenger planes take off. ' r - tarl fe Tx J "Painted Stallion" SUN. - MON. - TUES.
