Mrs. June Thompson and daughter, returned last week from a visit with her cousin and family, Mr. and Mrs. Gust Torngren, of Idaho Falls. She spent a week there and greatly enjoy - her visit. Mrs Wilford Nielsen entertained in honor of her daughter Nioma's birth day on Saturday. Mrs. Abe Hunsaker entertained in honor of her daughter Jessie's birth day. Several little friends enjoyed the afternoon The boy scouts of this ward enjoyed a wonderful trip to Promontory Point Saturday. Under the able leadership of Scout Master Don Hunsaker and Elias Andersen they visited some old caves and other places of interest. K. H. Fridal of Tremonton and Wil ford Nielsen and Walter Fridal also accompanied the boys on the trip. Lamb Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Lamb motored to Logan Canyon Sunday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Orland Hess and Mrs. Newel Hess were visiting relatives and friends in Malad, Sunday. Our Sacrament meeting Sunday was turned over to the M. I. A. for their Ward Conference. There was a large attendance, who enjoyed the excellant program. Mrs. Nellie Rose and land Peterson were the Stake Bj members in attendance. Our mutuals were reorganized with Preston Steed, as president, and Howard Hess and Stewart Burnett, as councellors of the young men and Mrs. Preston Steed, as president with Mrs. Stewart Burnett and Miss Evadine Smith and councellors of the young ladies. These young people are very energetic in ward affairs and promise a very lively time in mutual work this winter. Mr. Dale Hess, son of Mrs. Oseral here with relatives during the week. Mr. George Mason, of Fielding, called on relatives here Sunday. Mr. Mason is leaving soon for Boston, where he expects to finish his schooling.
