Hadfield, and son, Ross and Newell Udy and Ralph Hadfield, went to Logan Monday evening to attend the athletic program given by the American Legion. Senator T. R. Welling and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Karl Welling, and Mr. and Mrs. Glen Walker, attended the Armistice dance at Brigham. After the dance they were the supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Sorenson, of Brig-har. to Brigham Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Capener, of Salt Lake, spent Saturday and Sunday at the home of their son, Leland. Mr. and Mrs. Leland Capener, went to Brigham, Sunday, and were the dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Horace Bigler, of that place. The family of Horace Udy have moved to Brigham, for the winter. One of the largest land deals, of the season, was transacted, between the First National Bank, of Brigham City, and Glen Fryer, who became the owner of the large farm and s home, previously owned by John at Beaver Dam. This is a splendid buy and we congratulated, Mr. and Mrs. Fryer on their good judgment. They will soon move to their new Wat-kin- home. Mr. and Mrs. Carroll of Logan, visited with their daughter Mrs. Joe Hansen, last week; Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Goldsberry, of Salt Lake, came up here last Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Ogg left Monday for Illinois to visit with Mr. Ogg's mother and perhaps make their home there. Mrs. Ogg is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. C. Petersen. Mr. and Mrs. Clem Jensen and daughters, Albertha and Margery, of Ogden, and Mrs. Jensen of Salem, Idaho, visited last Monday with Mr. and Mrs. Walter Green. Will Andersen, of Howell, visited with H.
