She received a beautiful present and games and dainty refreshments were furnished by the teachers, Mrs. A. A. Munns and Mrs. Hyrum M. Christensen. Twenty participated. The adult class of the M. I. A. had a party on October 30th, Mrs Parley Christensen and Mrs. Amos F. Hansen were responsible for the Games. A very lively time was enjoyed and prizes were given away in one of the games, Mrs. Victor L. Hansen winning the highest score and H. P. the baby prize, both consisted o fa whistle in Halolwe'en color, which created much merriment. The luncheon was also served in Hallowe'en colors. Eighteen members enjoyed the party. Miss Winona Hansen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Hansen was married last Wednesday, October 30, in the Salt Lake Temple to Mr. Lawrence Durant of Salt Lake City: Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Hansen went down there to accompany them through the Temple. They will make their, home in Salt Lake City. A shower was given at the home of the bride's uncle, Milton H. Welling, the previous Wednesday where she received many beautiful presents. Her many friends here wish them joy and happiness. Mr. and Mrs. Linden Barkle of Harper, have been staying at the Heber Mortensen home for a couple of weeks assisting in the beet harvest, nearly everybody has their beets out, and the tonnage has been very good this year, the biggest part averages around 20 tons per acre and some went over. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Ogg of Pocatello Valley, visited at L. C. Petersen's home Sunday. June Thompsen is wearing a big smile. A solo by Mrs.. Harvey Miller was also given. Prayer was offered by Patriarch J. P. Christensen and benediction by Lloyd Hunsaker. The singing was also in keeping with the program. Dr. Payne and other friends from Ogden, visited at Ira Andersen's Sunday. They participated in the pheasant hunt Sunday morning. Mr. and Mrs. Harold J.
