Add more butter for cream sauce. Add flour and stir until well blended. Add milk gradually until desired consistency is obtanied. Stir to avoid lumps. Use the proportion of 2 tablespoons of flour to 1 cup of milk. If the dried beef is too salty, soak for 10 or 15 minutes in cold water; drain thoroughly and dry by patting between folds of clean, dry cloth. Have dry before adding to melted butter.
