A very successful hunting trip was had by a number of our hunters at the opening of the season. A group of men- left Thursday morning for CO. The visitors from church headquarters were Presiding Bishop Sylvester Q. Cannon, representing the presiding priesthood authorities, and Mrs. Louise Y. Robinson, general president of Relief societies. The weather was ideal for conference and the attendance was large at all meet ings. Mrs. De Lamar Cutler is visiting her parents at Garland this week. Hess C. Nelson is on the sick list this week and left Sunday for the hos pital at Salt Lake City. Bishop D. G. Nelson Jr., Alma Lar kin, Mary H. Cooper, Anne Hurd, Mr, and Mrs. J. J. Larkin, E. J. Robbins, Reed Larkin, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. G. Arbon, and Mr. and Mrs. D. G. Nelson spent Wednesday of last week at the Logan temple. Miss Amanda Neal and Doyle J Cutler were married Wednesday, October 17, at the Logan temple. The young couple will make their home v here. Miss Maud Anderson of Howell is staying here with her sister, Mrs. A. P. Larkin, while attending school. Wm. T. Robbins and son Harvey of Logan are spending a few days here. Harvey has just returned from a mis sion to the north central states. The Misses Sara and Helen Robbins and a friend motored over from Lo gan Friday to spend the week-enMrs. M. H. On Friday Mrs. Jensen was married to Jens C. Sorensen. A wedding supper was given in the eve ning to 25 relatives and friends. Mr. and Mrs. Degn also treated the bride and bridegroom and their attendants to adinner immediately after they left the temple. Oh, yes, we are going to have some big time on Hallowe'en night.
