ALPINE HIGHLAND RECOVERED STOLEN FIREARMS FIRE-ARMS On May 3, police recovered re-covered two loaded firearms that had been reported stolen from two different states over 20 years ago. The firearms were hidden under the center console in the wiring harness of an SUV belonging belong-ing to a resident of Alpine. The guns were located by the owner after he removed the cup holders from the center console for cleaning. clean-ing. The owner had purchased the used vehicle in 2006 from a car dealership, and a car history report showed the SUV was at one time a rental vehicle. INDECENT EXPOSURE LEWDNESS - On May 2, police received several reports of a nun in a green SUV that was exposing himself to young elementary acje students and women.. These incidents in-cidents occurred in the afternoon primarily near schools in Highland High-land during various dismissal times. Similar reports were also taken in American Fork and Cedar Hills in the same time frames. The suspect, identified as Brett Hammond, 24, of Highland, was apprehended on Saturday morning morn-ing May 3 and was booked into the Utah County Jail. No physical physi-cal contact occurred with any victims. AM. FORK ROBBERY ARREST - A 23-year-old man was arrested for robbery, possession of forged prescriptions, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a stolen credit card. The man pulled up in the drive-thru of a local pharmacy and handed the employee a note stating he had a gun and a bomb and demanded a controlled substance sub-stance from the pharmacy. The suspect then got nervous and drove away. There was a citizen behind him in the drive up and when she was advised what had occurred, she followed the suspect sus-pect until the police were able to locate the suspect and take him into custody. THEFT BY DECEPTION - A 29 year-old woman was arrested for theft by deception after she attempted to return a laptop with a fraudulent receipt. UNLAWFUL SEXUAL CONDUCT CON-DUCT - An 18 year-old man was arrested for unlawful sexual conduct with a minor. The man had been havint a sexual relationship rela-tionship with a 15-year-old girl. FAILURE TO REGISTER - A 31-ywr-oM man was arrested for two counts of failing to register as 3 sex coxier. DISORDERLY CONDUCT - A 21-year-old woman was arrested for disorderly conduct. During an argument with her husband, she started to throw some of her belongings. ASSAULT DOMESTIC VIOLENCE VIO-LENCE - A 32-year-old woman was arrested for assault domestic violence. The woman and her boyfriend got into a argument because be-cause she wanted to drink more alcohol and he took the alcohol and attempted to walk away. The woman jumped on his back and began punching the man. CEDAR HILLS UNLAWFUL DETENTION - A 28-year-old man was arrested for unlawful detention and domestic violence in the presence of a child. The man and his wife got into an argument and his wife attempted to take their child and leave.The man took her keys to her car and when she tried to go and get the spare key, he blocked the doorway so she was unable to leave. CRIMINAL MISCHIEFDOMESTIC MISCHIEFDO-MESTIC VIOLENCE - A 47-year-old woman was arrested for criminal mischief domestic violence and intoxication. The woman became upset during an argument and broke several pictures pic-tures and took a knife and cut up her husband's golf bag. EAGLE IVITN. ILLEGAL CONSUMPTION An early-morning traffic stop on SR73 revealed an under-age driver who had been drinking alcohol. The driver was cited for illegal consumption of alcohol. Although there was no physical violence during the argument, argu-ment, the man was cited for domestic do-mestic violencecriminal mischief for slashing the tires on his wife's vehicle. The husband was told not to return to the residence for a specified "cooling off" period. LEHI CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE PROBLEM - One juvenile boy was cited into Juvenile Court on May 1 with possession with intent to distribute and disorderly conduct. Another juvenile boy was cited with disorderly conduct into Juvenile Court. VEHICLE BURGLARY - Report on April 28 of a vehicle burglary in which several prescriptions, a portable DVD player, and miscellaneous miscel-laneous CD's were taken. DUI - On April 29, an individual was booked into the Utah County jail for DUI, denied driver's license, and an outstanding warrant. war-rant. The vehicle was impounded. TRAFFIC OFFENSE - An individual indi-vidual was cited on April 29 for revoked driver's license and red light violation and arrested for another agency's warrant. ANIMAL BITE - The dog owner was issued a citation on April 27. The owner had a warrant and was transported to the Fred House Academy for Draper Police to take custody. ASSAULT -On April 27, an individual was taken to the Utah County jail on assault with a knife and criminal mischief. PLEASANT GROVE CRIMINAL MISCHIEF -Officers responded to the report of juveniles throwing water balloons from a vehicle on pedestrians on May 6. The suspects missed the pedestrians and were gone when police arrived. CRIMINAL MISCHIEF - A complainant reported graffiti spray painted on his home window win-dow on May 6. The graffiti says "RJC" in gray spray paint. CRIMINAL MISCHIEF - The side of a four-plex building and a window on the back of the building build-ing were discovered tagged on May 7. A shed in the bag of the property was also tagged. A TAG form was signed by the resident and contact with the owner of the building was made. Estimated cost of clean-up is $200. The paint was on different types of surface including masonry, glass and metal. CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE PROBLEM - On May 7, officers responded to a report of a family fam-ily fight between a mother and daughter. Officers found the incident inci-dent was dealing with narcotics. Due to a language barrier, officers offi-cers arrived and found the reporting report-ing party complaining in regards to her daughter and the marijuana mari-juana located in her room. One girl was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana in a drug-free-zone. CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE PROBLEM - A May 10 traffic stop for a stop sign violation resulted in the arrest of a woman and a man. The woman was booked into the Utah County jail for possession in a drug-free-zone, possession of drug para- phoinulia in a DFZ, possession of a sehodule two prescription without with-out a prescription, never obtaining obtain-ing a driver's license, a stop sign violation, and a no bail warrant. The man was booked into jail for possession of methamphetamine in a DFZ, and possession of paraphernalia para-phernalia in a DFZ. THEFT - A complainant reported report-ed her son broke into her house and took a number of items. She confronted him and he admitted he had the items but needed to round them up. After he did not return them, she decided to file a police report. The items included butane heaters, butane stoves, a Nightstar flash light, and a lantern. SARATOGA SPRINGS SEXUAL ASSAULT - Members Mem-bers of the Saratoga Springs Police Po-lice Tactical Team took a 38-year-old man into custody on May 5 for an alleged sexual offense. A complaint against the suspect had been filed the previous week. The complaint alleges that the suspect engaged in sexual activity activ-ity with a child, and held the victim vic-tim against their will. The arrest was made without incident. TRAFFIC OFFENSE - Officers responded to the crossroads area of SR73 and SR68 on the report of teenagers driving recklessly and exposing themselves to passing motorists.
