Mar. 22, 2008 at Greenwood Manor, where he resided for the last two years, following follow-ing a short illness. He was born Jan. 28, 1923 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Orson and Dora Cedarlund Godfrey. He married Faye Bennett, Ben-nett, Sept. 24, 1947 in Lehi. Their marriage was solemnized, Jan. 27, 1964 in the Salt Lake Temple. She died Jan. 29, 1990. Joseph grew up on a farm in Lehi and graduated from Lehi High School in 1941. He attended Brigham Young Academy in Provo. He retired from Geneva Steel after working over 36 years. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, fish-ing, sports, and outdoor activities with his family. He was an avid gardener, taking much pride in his yard. ' He is survived by four children: I OA V --r jV y7 Gary Neldon Varney 1942-2008 Gary Neldon Varney, 65, passed away suddenly March 11, 2008 in Alamogordo, New Mexico. He was born July 15, 1942 in American Fork Utah to Neldon Earl and Belva Batty Bat-ty Varney. He graduated gradu-ated from American Fork High School in 1960. He was a long time employee at Geneva Ge-neva Steel Pipe Plant. Married Gaylene Baker and had 2 children. They divorced but remained good friends. He later met Rose Whit-ener. Whit-ener. Matthew Raymond Ray-mond Pritt was born in Provo, Utah on October 26, 2002 to Michael and Connie Pritt. Little did we know how many lives he would touch in the 5 short years of his life. Matthew was a bubbly little miracle full of love. He had great faith in Jesus Christ and loved to go to church, primary and have family home evening. He enjoyed being with his father fa-ther on scouting activities and loved soccer, swimming, trains, animals, but most of all his little brother. His many friends and cousins will miss him so much.
