ALPINE HIGHLAND CRIMINAL TRESPASS - Three male students from American Ameri-can Fork High School were cited for criminal trespass upon school property on March 11 when they were found to be on the Lone Peak campus for a possible fight with another student. The three juveniles were cited into Youth Court. DISORDERLY CONDUCT Police cited two male LPHS students for disorderly conduct when the two were caught fighting fight-ing in the boys' locker room on March 10. The students were cited into Juvenile Court. TRAFFIC OFFENSE - Police cited a 28 year old Lehi resident on March 13 in Highland for driving driv-ing on suspension, no insurance and a revoked vehicle registration. registra-tion. The vehicle was impounded for the registration violation and towed. ARREST WARRANTCHILD SEXUAL ABUSE - Police obtained an arrest warrant on March 13 for the suspect in the child sexual assault that occurred at an Alpine business involving involv-ing a 5-year-old female. Robert Randall Ferguson, 48, of Orem was subsequently arrested and is currently in the Utah County Jail. Bail has been set at $25,000.00. AMERICAN FORK ACCIDENT - A Salt Lake area man and woman were critically injured March 14, when they were struck by a pickup truck as they crossed American Fork's Main and Center streets shortly before 2 p.m. Lt. Sam Liddiard said the truck, driven by a 72-year-old Texas man, made a left turn from Center Cen-ter to go east on Main Street and did not see the man and woman as they were crossing in the crosswalk. The male pedestrian, 53, ended up pinned under the truck. No information was available avail-able on the woman, who was knocked a short distance away. Liddiard said John's Towing Tow-ing happened to be going by at the time, saw the accident and stopped. Jamie Sorenson, driver, unhooked the car he was towing and lifted the truck. The man was airlifted to Utah Valley Regional Medical Center in Provo. The woman was taken American Fork Hospital by ambulance. The accident occurred just a half-block from the police and fire station EAGLE ATTN. DOMESTIC VIOLENCE - An Eagle Mountain man was arrested ar-rested and booked into the Utah County Jail on charges of domestic domes-tic violence assault, domestic violence vio-lence in the presence of children and violation of a protective order following a dispute with his wife. DUI - An officer stopped a vehicle vehi-cle after he observed the vehicle repeatedly crossing the center-line center-line of S.R. 73. The officer noticed the odor of alcohol while talking with the driver. The driver failed field sobriety tests. The driver was arrested and booked into the Utah County Jail on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol al-cohol and not carrying car insurance insur-ance on the vehicle. FAIRFIELD OFF-ROAD ACCIDENT - Police Po-lice responded to an off-road recreational vehicle accident between Five-Mile Pass and Fairfield. Emergency medical responders treated a victim at the scene. LEHI TRAFFIC PROBLEM - On March 6, a woman was booked into the Utah County Jail on outstanding out-standing warrants, suspended driver's license and no insurance. The male passenger was booked into jail on outstanding warrants and illegal consumption. TRAFFIC PROBLEM - On March 7, an individual was cited for revoked registration, no insurance driving on expired license, and Utah driver's license required. ASSAULT A juvenile was cited cit-ed with assault and threat against life and property on March. 7. TRAFFIC STOP - A man was cited with revoked registration, no insurance and revoked driver's license on March 7. The vehicle was impounded. VEHICLE BURGLARY - Report Re-port of a vehicle burglary was received on March. 8. Taken were a wallet, clothing items, including jeans, shirts, neckties, jackets, shorts and shoes. Also taken were basketballs, car accessories, accesso-ries, miscellaneous appliances, a backpack, and large bag. PLEASANT GROVE ASSAULT One juvenile was cited for assault on a lock school employee on March 12 and referred re-ferred to 4th District Court. BURGLARY - On March 14, a caller reported a known suspect forced his way into the victim's home and punched the complainant. complain-ant. The suspect then threw the caller's phone while the caller was calling police. The suspect then kicked the caller's door while the suspect was trying to get back in and then quickly left. Officers Offi-cers spoke with the suspect at his home in Salt Lake, and he refused to come and meet with them. He also refused to open the door to Salt Lake Police when they arrived ar-rived at his home. A summons is requested on the suspect. BURGLARY - Police responded to a forced entry residential burglary bur-glary on March 16. BURGLARY - Cash and electronics elec-tronics were reported stolen in a March 15 residential burglary. They found the juveniles were hitting their own car in their driveway. The car was going to the junk yard. CRIMINAL MISCHIEF - Officers Of-ficers responded to a report of a house that was toilet-papered on March 15. DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE - Officers were dispatched to a intoxicated man on March 16. The man was DUI, suicidal and armed with a hand gun. The man was arrested. SARATOGA SPRINGS SUICIDE ATTEMPT - Officers responded to a report of a suicidal sui-cidal man who had stabbed himself. him-self. The victim reportedly suffers from depression and other mental men-tal health issues. Officers found that the man had stabbed himself in the leg. The victim was transported trans-ported to an area hospital. VEHICLE THEFT - A man in the Harvest Hills subdivision reported that his truck had been taken by an acquaintance without with-out his permission. The suspect later returned the truck and told police that he thought borrowing the truck would be okay with the owner. The owner said that no permission had been granted.
