The sound of water cascading cascad-ing from rock-like fountains was designed to offer the feeling feel-ing of peace. Owners Matt and Elizabeth Dimond explained why they chose to open the store. "I worked in the construction business doing electrical work," Matt Dimond said. "I noticed a lot of people are getting into water garden features. We love the outdoors ourselves. We love the calming and soothing effect that these fountains provide." "I thought it was a great idea," Elizabeth Dimond said. "I have really enjoyed putting the store together. It has been really real-ly rewarding to see it all come together. We hope that people come in and feel the calming and want to bring it home." In fact, they have invited anyone having a stressful day to relax for a few minutes at the store. "We welcome anyone to come enjoy and relax," Elizabeth Eliza-beth Dimond said. "If you are having a rough day. come on in." The carry a variety of fountains, foun-tains, in all price ranges, she said. "We tried to get something ticker; RG. Fountains may be made of concrete or polyurethane. "The polyurethane is durable but light weight," Elizabeth Dimond said. "The heaviest one we have is 80 pounds." Matt Dimond said it had been tested and over a 10-year period it was as durable as those made of concrete. It is also available in a choice of colors. "A lot of these fountains you can't find anywhere else in Utah," he said. "They are the same type you would find in the enclosures at the Australian Austra-lian zoo." There is one fountain on display that is made of solid marble, with petrified tree roots visible in it. "It came from the mountains of India." Matt Dimond said. "They slice giant rocks to made them." There is an area of their display dis-play that shows fountains with a more contemporary look. All the fountains are self contained and come with pumps. They do not need a water wa-ter source, but just recycle the water which is placed in them. The owner needs to check the water level, probably once a week, to make sure there is enough.
