He was born to George and Lillie Miner on Feb 1926 in American Fork. He is the youngest of 8 children. chil-dren. His school years were spent in American Fork. He graduated f rom American Fork High School m 1W4. Darwin worked for United States Steel at Geneva Works between his junior and senior year while Geneva was under a instruct). He enlisted in the Air Force at age 17 and was stationed in Amarillo, Texas and later transferred to Marfa Air Force Base. He married his high school sweetheart, sweet-heart, Bonnie Larsen while in Texas, and was awaiting pilit training school when W.W.II ended - they returned re-turned to Lehi to make their home. Darwin continued his education by an ending Utah Technical College (presently UVSQ, and received his degree as a Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic (Diesel and Automotive). Jake Fagan Elder Jake Fagan, son of David and Susan Fagan of American Fork, recently returned form serving in the Indiana, Indianapolis LDS Missim. He will speak on Sunday. Darwin has served his community by owning and operating his private automotive business "Miner's T B A." Darwin retired in 19X5 from US Steel after 42 years of heavy duty mechanic work.
