Show Pratt Sisters Plan Summer Weddings Mr. and Mrs. Ralph D. Pratt of American Fork are announcing announc-ing the engagement and forthcoming forthcom-ing marriages of two of their daughters, Valerie and Lorena. Miss Valerie Pratt is engaged to Mr. Voyne Madsen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles N. Mad-sen Mad-sen of Pleasant Grove. The ' couple are planning a mid-August wedding. The bride-to-be is a graduate of American Fork High School where she was a member of the Pep Club. She is also a graduate gradu-ate of the LDS Seminary, four-year four-year program. At the present time she is attending theSouthern Utah State College at Cedar City and will graduate in June with a certificate in business. She is affiliated with the Lambda Delta Sigma Sorority there. Mr. Madsen, the prospective bridegroom, is a graduate of the Pleasant Grove High School, He also graduated from LDS Seminary, Semi-nary, four-year program, and attended at-tended Snow College in Ephraim. Timp Valley Chapter of National Secretaries Association will lead out this season with a "Happiness "Happi-ness Is" fashion show. This week of April 23-29 has been set aside to celebrate the 21st Annual Secretaries Sec-retaries Week. "Happiness" starts at 7:00 p.m. at the Elks Lodge, 1000 South University Avenue, Provo Monday, April 24th. They wore look-alike floor-length dresses of yel low and white checked cotton. Each wore a pert white apron and they carried baskets of white daisies. Both the mother of the bride and the mother of the groom wore blue cotton floor-length dresses trimmed in white lace and each wore a white daisy cor sage. Performing the duties of best man was Tom Priday. Sherm Robinson served as usher. Serving tables were covered with red and white checRed cloths and centered with baskets of popped corn.
