On the same? evening the couple , will be honored hon-ored at a reception to be held In the American Fork Fifth Ward recrt'atlon hall, Miss Whimpey has attended Hie Pan-American Business College in Richmond and has been a stuednt at the Brigham Young TJnlverslty. Mr. Birk is a graduate of the" American. Fork High School where he took an active part in the school activities. He at tended Utah State University where he was affiliated, with Si?ma Alpha Epsllon. He also attende'd the Brigham Young University. He has just completed comple-ted a two year LDS mission in the Central Atlantic States. Mr. Birk plans to continue his studiesat the University of Utah. Glena Rae Pinkerton Becomes Bride ' Jt I - Glenna Rae Pinkerton Mr. and Mrs. W. Ray Pinkerton Pink-erton are announcing tho marriage mar-riage of their daughter, Glenna Glen-na Rae to. Gary Cleveland of Salt Lake City, formerly of Paris, Idaho. Mr. Cleveland is the son of Mrs. Wilfred Taylor of Salt Lake City. He graduated from Fielding High School in Paris, Idaho. He has been four years with the Unite'd States Air Force spending most of his time in France. He was on the squad of the Chamiponship Air Force Football team In Europe. Glena Rae graduated from the Ame'rican Fork High School and has attended the Utah State University where she was a member of the Sigma Kappa Sorority. She then graduated from Comptometer School in Salt Lake City and at present is employed at the Mt. States Telephone Co. Bishop Don Fox will officiate1 at the marriage which will take place at the home of the parents of the hride, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Pinkerton, on Friday, April 7. Leukemia, which is an incur able cancer of the blood-forming tissues, will take the lives or some 13.000 persons in the Unit ed States this year and a fifth of them will be children under the age of 15. Fork Men to Receive Ford Club Award Three American Fork Ford car and truck salesmen will be presented Ford Motor Company's Com-pany's 300-500 Club award at a banquet in Salt Lake City honoring hon-oring high-ranking Ford dealership deal-ership car and truck salesmen of 1900 in the Salt Lake City sales district. Thurlo Newell, district sales manager, said 300-500 Club membership awards are pre- sentedlor excellent retail sales performance. The Ford 300- 500 Club was founded In 1950 to recognize the performance of outstanding Ford salesmen throughout the country.
