The meeting will be a noon luncheon affair on Febru ary 7th at the Newhouse Hotel, Salt Lake City, Governor George D. Clyde will also attend the meeting and ex press his personal views on traf flc safety needs In Utah, Additional and new nomlna tlons for retiring members of the Board of Directors of the Utah Safety Council will also be submitted for election, L. F Black, President of the Council said. A formal report on safety ac tlyitles in Utah during the past year, and plans for the coming year will also be distributed and briefly discussed, "WhlMT Utah'traffic accident record in 1057 wasx again bleak and sorrowful for all concerned, the year also marked a period or very significant and basic advances in the laying of a foundation for the future," Mr. Black said. Ski Enthusiasts Enjoy Favorite Winter Sport The Ski Set has taken to the hills again to learn and enjoy the sport of skiing. Trips made so far this year have been to Brighton, Alta and. Snow Park. This will be the eleventh season sea-son for Marion W. Robinson to Instruct and supervise skiing for the American Fork Recreation Department, along with Dick and Marge Eastmond, Glen Gordon, Gor-don, Irvln Chipman and Guy Ivins. The school board furnished a bus for the school children taking tak-ing part in this sport for a number num-ber of years, but this year a bus is not available ajid private cars have to be .used. If anyone would enjoy going and taking a group of young people, please contact one of the persons mentioned men-tioned above. There Is still time to make application for the ski schoo. Hunting Funeral services for Mrs. Myr tle Collins Hunting, .56, - were held Wednesday, January 22, at 1 p.m. in the Community Presbyterian Pres-byterian Church, under the di rection of Rev. Donald S. Ryder. Mrs. Hunting' died January 19 following a heart attack. Rev. Ryder gave the funeral sermon and offered the invocation invoca-tion and benediction. Virgil H. Ryder dedicated the grave in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers were Leon and James Filllhger,' Lurls Lamph, Max Hunting, Richard Grimm and Melvln Gordon.
