New Road Signs Are Installed Mrs. M. D. Boley, Murtough, and Mr. and Mrs.' Howard Pickett and daughter Cherry, Boise, Ida., visited over the week end with Mrs. Bert Adamaon and with relatives In Lehi. Mr. and Mrs. John Smith, Mrs. Anna Smith and Mrs. May Kirk of Salt Lake visited here Sunday , with Mr. and Mrs. Paul Faddls and Milton Brown. The east state highway and east Main street are sporting new road signs, installed by the Utah state highway commission. One has been placed on Second East and Main designating the roads as a "Junction". The sign Is to inform motorists that the junction junc-tion of highway 74 leading to Alpine leaves highway number 91 and 50 at Main and . First East. . The new highway signs also designate that highway 74 leads to Timpanogos Cave. Democratic Rally Set For Friday Reva Beck Bosone, Democratic candidate for congress, second district; Grant McFarlane, state chairman of the party, together with other state and county candidates can-didates will speak at the rally to be held here Friday night, Oct. 29. The rally will begin at 8:00 p. m. and will be held in the city hall with David L. Greenwood and Mrs. J. J. Mercer, precinct chairman and chairwoman, in charge. The rally will be a round-robin, the speakers alternating with a similar meeting to be held the same evening in Alpine. Among the county speakers will be Ernest H. Dean, American Fork, candidate for representative representa-tive from the first legislative district: dis-trict: J.Clark Elmer. After six years of childless marriage the couple adopted twins, a boy and a girl, in Jan. 1943. The new baby, who weighed seven pounds nine ounces, will be called Carlos, for his father.
