Allen, vocational agri cultural Instructor, attended the annual state convention of the Future Farmers of America held in the Newhouse .Hotel Friday and Saturday. lJess Bromley. -JocaL. chapter president, was chairman of the banquet committee, chairman of the State. B'armer applicants committee, and aided in register ing delegates. Richard Chlpman received theState Farmer degree ttrarrng complied -with- the re-i quirements in his farm program, above average scholarship, and his numerous leadership activi ties both in school and in the chapter. There were 48 boys In the state who received the degree this year. Lynn Harris was on official delegate and Floyd Vest attended as a visitor. Try-outs for the ten parts in the play, five male and five female, were held the first of the week and a careful selection has resulted re-sulted in a cast which no doubt will give a commendable presentation presen-tation of the play. Miss Beth Ovard of the speech department Is the adviser of KDA and will coach the play. Other members of the organization not in the cast will assist in staging, etc. Following is the cast: Erma :..
