All adult descendants of Stephen Y., Frederick and Christian Beck are Invited to attend the affair. This will include all over 14 years of age. The annual meeting of the Beck organization will be held at 4 p. m. in the recreation hall. A social, including in-cluding a program, dancing and refreshments, will be held in the evening, in the recreation hall. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Terry and daughters Linda, Alice, Carolyn and Carol, of Salt Lake City, were Friday Fri-day visitors at the home of Mrs. John Watkins. Glen A. Wright left Sunday for San Francisco, to attend a three-day conference of PWA directors there. Mr. Wright is in charge of the Salt Lake City office of the PWA. Charles H. Carr, who has been visiting the past week with Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Sweeten of this city and other relatives in Utah, left Tuesday for his home in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Mr. Carr will return by way of Southern Utah and Arizona, com pleting an extended tour of the Pacific Pa-cific Northwest and Rocky Mountain sections. Three students from American Fork and three from Pleasant Grove are among the 245 new students who have registered at Brlgham Young university, boosting the total enroll ment to 2544 for an all time record. At present the total number of students stu-dents attending the Y exceeds last year'-; total by more than 500. The students from American Fork are: Virginia sneney, daughter or Mr. and Mrs. Stephen T. Shelley; Ern?st H. Dean, son of Mr. and Mrs. Owen Dean; Dean Gordon, son of Mr. and Mrs. D. H. Oordon. Pleas ant Grove: Richard Paul Harvey, son of Mr. and Mrs. L. P. Harvey; Calvin Swenson, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. V. Swenson; and Delmar Nelson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank F. Nelson. Mr. and Mrs. Keith Nielsen returned re-turned Thursday of last week after an extended trip to the Southwest and Old Mexico. They took Mrs. Carl Peterson and son back to Clovis, New Mexico, and then motored on to El Paso, Texas; Juarez, Mexico; and returned by way of Phoenix, Arizona. Mrs. Eliza Russell and son, James and daughter Ruth and baby came Wednesday to congratulate their parents and grandparents on their fifty-ninth wedding anniversary. Fork Market Shelley Family Holds Reunion An outstanding event of last week was the annual reunion of the James Boyer Shelley family, held Saturday evening In Firmage hall. The reunion celebrated the 147th birthday anniversary of James Boyer Shelley. A large crowd of descendants from over the state attended. at-tended. With Ernest Shelley, Shelley family fam-ily organization chairman. In charge a program was presented during the evening. It featured a sketch of the life of James Boyer Shelley, by George F. Shelley. Other numbers were community singing; a yodellng song by Donald Rydalch; reading, Sadie Armltstead; trumpet solo, Paul Shelley, accompanied by Mrs. Mary Humphries; piano solo, "Mocking Bird", Mrs. Mary Humphries; Hum-phries; vocal duet, Margaret and Richard Rydalch; reading, Barbara Conder; piano solo, Marion Humphries; Hum-phries; reading, Llstona Wilde; duet, Max and Dora Hunsaker, accompanied accom-panied by Lottie Munns. Beth Ellison, Gleaner president; Miss Greenwood, assistant leader, and Margaret Dunkley and Lois Shafter were the hostesses. Games were played and a dainty lunch was served to the 14 attending. Mrs. Jennie Halllday of Pleasant Grove is receiving medical care at the hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Sterling Durrant are the proud parents of a baby girl, born Saturday at the hospital. Mother and baby are doing nicely. Mrs. Thomas Clark expects to leave the hospital this week. She has been receiving medical care at the hospital. i Mrs. W. J. Taylor of Pleasant Grove is receiving medical attention at the hospital. Hans Rasmussen of Pleasant Grove is reported to be Improving at the hospital, where he has been receiving treatment for some time. Mrs. J. L. Hales of Cedar Valley expects to leave the hospital soon. She has been receiving treatment for a sinus infection. Donald Chlpman was transferred to the L. D. S. hospital Tuesday afternoon.
