Show 'The Babysitters' seems like real life By MARCELLA WALKEK The audience enjoys a good laugh throughout the performance of "The Babysitters", which is being presented currently at the Valley Center Playhouse in Lindon, but it strikes home, also. Everyone who is a grandparent or ever expects to be a grandparent will feel right at home with this comedy which tells the story of the way life can really be, especially when you think things are slowing down and life is becoming easy and enjoyable. While full of fun, this production also gets across a good message for every age group. There is the childhood liveliness, curiosity and adventure exemplified in the performances per-formances of Justin Top as Raymond Bailey and Ashley Ed-dington Ed-dington as Bonnie Jo Swenson. These roles are played alternately by Joey Glenn and Maile Hatch, respectively. There is the bewilderment of motherhood and marriage exemplified exem-plified in the performance of Elaine Barnett as Liz Swenson. There is the confusion of today's worldliness in contrast with longheld standards of propriety as shown in the performances of Corinne Puckett as Tammy, Tawni Bristol as Smokey, Tim Otto as Robin, and Robert Defendi as Roland. There is the desire for escape and immature romance in the performances per-formances of Michelle Gentry as Doreen and Justin Hill as Todd Aging parents is subject of seminar Adult children often find themselves them-selves actively involved in the care of their aging parent. This experience ex-perience can either be positive, or it can be overwhelming. In an effort to help adult children better cope with the responsibilities and challenges associated with caring for aging parents, American Fork Hospital is sponsoring a seminar, "The Joy of an Aging Parent," on Tuesday, March 15, from 7 to 9 p.m. in the hospital board room. This course is designed to help reduce the "stress of care" often felt by adult children, relatives and hello world February 29 Boy to Michael and Sharon Anderson McMillan of Provo. The role of Todd is also played by Mike Renstrom. There is the agony and realism of old age exemplified in the performance per-formance of LeRoy Wilcox as Great-Grandpa Great-Grandpa Bailey. Coping is the name of the game for Grandpa and Grandma Bailey, played by Alan Wagoner and Maridell Pearson, when all these characters listed above descend upon them all at one time. Director Chris LoGrande has staged this comedy in such a way that the time flies and when you look at your watch at the end of the play you are amazed that so much time has gone by.
