Two AF players on final roster of all-star team Two' American Fork football players are on the final roster of the 1986 Utah High School Coaches All-Star All-Star football team released this week from the United Cerebral Palsy office. Teams in this year's all-star competition represent 3-A and 4-A schools front throughout the state. The game will be played Friday, Aug. 1, at 8 p.m. at Judge Memorial High School in Salt Lake. American Fork athletes on the team are tailback Shaun Peters and center Jay Ferguson. Coaches aire Rod Bockwoldt of Weber High School for the 4-A team and Ray Newbury of Springville for the 3-A team. Both coached state championship teams last year in their respective divisions. All funds generated by the game will go directly to the programs of United Cerebral Palsy of Utah, including Camp Kostopulos. The games have helped the camp to increase service from 11 weeks of camp for the handicapped to 14 weeks. Other summertime programs benefitted by the All-Star Classics include a pre-school for the disabled, wilderness trips and community-based community-based recreational activities. Advanced tickets are available after July 20 at local Safeway Stores at a $1 discount over gate prices the night of the game.
