Duncan is spending the week here from Boulder, Colo., visiting visit-ing with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Duncan. Wednesday Mr. Duncan and his mother , visited relatives In the capttol city. ' The students of the high school -were addressed during assembly period by Dr. P. D. Worlton, president presi-dent of the Alpine District School Board. The Glee club of the school rendered several selections. Dr. II. E. Robinson of Ogden has been confined to his home and the Dee Hospital for the last four weeks but Is Improving rapidly now. Complica tions developed for which he was operated upon .March 4th. Mr. and Mrs. H. M. Cawrey left Monday for Logan where Mr.'Cawery has opened a bakery. Wallace Chip-man, Chip-man, who was employed by Mr. Caw rey, former owner of the Home Bake ry of this city, will assist in the Lo gan bakery. Sun day school and their teacher, Mrs. Jennie Tanner, were given a peanut "bust" Wednesday night in the ward chapel by the officers of the organisation organi-sation as a reward for having attained attain-ed the highest percentage of attendance atten-dance during last month. Tuesday night the Gleaner Girls of the four wards met in the city hall and listened to a splendid talk by Mrs.' John Cutler of Lehl. Mrs. Cutler encouraged en-couraged the girls to be original in their handwork and suggested a number of things easily made which would prove attractive in home deco ration. Sunday visitors In the capitol city were Mr. and Mrs. Ruben Chlpman and family. Mrs. Clarence Roundy of Scofleld Is visiting with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Otis Cheney. Ronald Wood, manager of the local Mutual Creamery plant, returned Tuesday from Boise", Idaho, where he was summoned by the serious illness of his father the Thursday previous. Mr. Wood's father was decidedly better bet-ter by the first of the week enabling him to return to American Fork. Mr. Wood spent Thursday and Friday In Nephl in the Interest of the creamery. It is urgently requested that all people having unsanitary coops and yards are requested to clean them up at once. Miss Virginia Brown has been ill for the past two weeks with a gathering gather-ing in her head which resulted in a mastoid operation at the Community hospital Thursday morning. Miss Brown is reported doing as well as can be expected. Word was received in this city of the birth on March 11th of a baby girl to Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Smith of Saw-telle, Saw-telle, California. Mrs. Smith was formerly Miss Edrie McBride of this city and Is a granddaughter of E. E. McBride. The E. Y. O. girls were entertained Thursday night by Miss May Wilcox. All enjoyed themselves In needle work, music and chatting. At ten o'clock a delicious lunch was served.
