The blade pierced the pupil and though it is not known yet whether the sight of the eye is lost, it is doing as well as can be expected. Ordinance An Ordinance amending section 71A, Chapter 10, of the Revised Ordinances Ordin-ances of American Fork City, passed by the City Council of American Fork City, December 31st 1919, aad adding to said Chapter 10 certain new Sections to be known as TIB, and 71C. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF AMERICAN FORK CITY: , .. Section I. ThatA Section 71A of Chapter 10 of the Revised Ordinances of American Fork City, Utah, passed on the 31st day of December, 1919, be and the same is hereby emended to read as follows: - Section 71A.- Any person who baa heretofore purchased or shall here after purchase a lot half lot or In dividual burial place in th American Fork City Cemetery may pay into the city treasury one hundred (f 100). dol lars for a full lot sixty (0) dollars for a half lot or twenty-five (125) dollars for an individual burial place, as full compensation for the further perpetual car and maintenance of said lot half lot or Individual burial place, and American Fork City shall thereafter forever at Its own expense care for, maintain, and furnish water for and irrigate said lot half lot, or Individual. burial place. That for the purpose of fixing the amount to be paid for perpetual maintenance, a lot shall be construed to mean a piece of ground 30 feet by 20 feet a half lot shall be construed- to meana piece of ground 20 by 10 616 feet and an Individual burial place shall be construed to mean a piece of ground 6 feet by 10 5-18 feet. Each purchaser - making payment for perpetual maintenance, as in this section provided, shall be given a certificate, showing Jhe fact and the City Recorder shall keep a duplicate thereof which shall, be recorded, in a book kept for that purpose. When the said fees shall hava been paid they shall never be withdrawn but they shall remain and be as a per petual fund for the purpose for which they ara paid, and It shall be and is the duty of the city council to expend ex-pend the interest accruing from the perpetual cemetery fund In the care and maintenance of said lot half lot or individual burial place. Section 2. That new sections to be numbered 71B and 71C be and the same are hereby added to Chapter 10 of the Revised Ordinances of American Ameri-can Fork City as follows, to-wlt: Section 71B. American Fork City shall have complete and exclusive charge and supervision of the care and maintenance of all lots or parts of lots in the American Fork City Cemetery, and the city council may employ such employee at the city cemetery as may be necessary, at such compensaUon as may be designated de-signated by auch , council ... Said city council of American Fork City may pass by motion or resolution such 'rate'aBd'''r'iMlon'',s''ttma7''tfMm necessary for the care, beautlflcatlon and control of the said cemetery, and also for the assessment and collection of necessary charges made against the owner of all lots or parts of lots.
