Four Qenertiona An interesting picture appeared in the Deseret News last Saturday, in .which Jacob Chrlstensen ; standi at th head of four generations, though telnf but 72 yean of age himself. Mr. Chrlstensen was born in Denmark Den-mark Feb. 22, 1851, coming to Utah la 1272. Be nurrled Annie Catherine Cather-ine Hansen in 1875. Mr. and Mrs. George F. Richards returned Monday from a three Months Mon-ths stay ia California. Most of their time was spent in Taft, where they visited their youngest daughter, Luel-la, Luel-la, now Mrs. Atkins. Mr. Richards reports he was particularly Interested Interest-ed .in the oil wells around Taft, it being similar to a forest with all the oil well 'derricks towering Into the air and In great abundance. He said the oil wells, the summer climate,, the scenery, and the fruit in California were wonderful, but Utah is the place for him, especially PI easant Grove. CHAMPION WRESTLER ES IN Three of our local boys attended the ttate boxing and wrestling tour nament for. amateurs recently ' held In Salt Lake and were rated winners, and received notice from Ira Dera, the world's middleweight champion wrestler, who promised to come down and give a demonstration in professional profes-sional wrestling. The date of Thursday Thurs-day night was set and the wrestltng matches and demonstration given in the high school.' Beveral amateur wrestlers and boxers box-ers from the B. Y. U. met with the local boys and Mrv Dera gave a 20 minute demonstration ot professional wrestling. The evening was. very en tertaining for the local fans.
