Highland Stake redefines boundaries Four new wards were formed March 31 in the Highland LDS Stake as all ward boundaries were re-defined. The action was taken under the direction of Highland Stake President Presi-dent Richard Stowe in a special meeting held in the Tabernacle. Created with the re-organization were the Highland 11th, 12th, 13th and 14th wards. Officials said each of the 15 wards now has about 70 families (350 people). Sustained as members of the new 11th Ward bishopric were: Loren R. Mansfield, bishop; John L. Allen, 1st counselor; Larry J. Davis, 2nd counselor; D. Kay Adam-son, Adam-son, executive secretary; Brent Nielsen, ward clerk; and Bruce R. Jenkins and Plinio Pinentel, assistant assis-tant ward clerks. Leading the new 12th ward are C. Carlos Alvarez, bishop; Rodolfo C. Dominguez, 1st counselor, Robert J. Barber, 2nd counselor; Gary L. Gray, executive secretary; Gary C. r Highland 14th Ward, L-R, Robert C. Brodine, Bishop Delbert E. Christensen, Steven M. Ostler. Standing, Ronald R. Smith, James E. Moore, Dale G. Simpson, Jr., Gaylen L. Harris. Knudsen, ward clerk; and L. Douglas Pierce, assistant ward clerk. Members of the 13th ward bishopric bish-opric are Kimball E. Parker, bishop; Harold L. Hodges, 1st counselor; Glen R. Fuller, 2nd counselor; Phillip Phil-lip L. Harker, executive secretary; Wade S. Shawcroft, ward clerk; and Ronald G. Mugleston, assistant assis-tant ward clerk. Delbert E. Christensen was sustained as bishop of the 14th ward, with Robert C. Brodine, 1st counselor; Steven M. Ostler, 2nd counselor; Roland R. Smith, executive execu-tive secretary; James E. Moore, ward clerk; and Dale G. Simpson Jr and Gaylen L. Harris, assistant ward clerks. Changers were made in several of the other bishoprics, with a new counselor or other member of the bishopric named as necessitated by the boundary changes, In the 9th ward, LaMar Hatch was retained as bishop, however the remainder of the bishopric changed.
