District Reflections Winners honored Uinta Campground reservations began March 17 "If you have a large family, church of scoul group campout planned on the Uinta ' National Forest this summer, be sure to call ahead for reservations," says Steve Winslow, Recreation Officer for the Pleasant Grove and Spanish Fork , Ranger Districts. Campground reservations for large groups began March 17 at all Uinta National Forest District Offices. Reservations can be made either by telephone or by appearing in person at the Pleasant Grove Ranger District Office. Campground reservations can be made by calling Pleasant Grove, 785-3563. According to Lyle Gomm, Uinta Recreation Officer, "Only one reservation will be cccpted per telephone call." Zabel C Winners of Parent-Teachers Association sponsored Reflections contest in the Alpine School District were honored by members of the Board of Education at their March 11 board meeting held at district offices in American Fork. The students were each presented with a certificate noting their accomplishments, and were praised by board members. Entries were based on the theme "From Liberty's View,"according to PTA directors of the competition. He was born June 6, 1917 in Lehi to John E. and Nina Evelyn An-dreason An-dreason Colledge. He married Catherine Elizabeth Buchner June 28, 1963 in Lehi. He worked in the construction industry and was a member of the LDS Church. Survivors include his wife of American Fork; two sons and one daughter: John Colledge, American Fork; Arthur Porath, Middletown, Conn.; and Mrs. Alice Thorstrom, Murray; one grandson, Victor D. Smith, Murray; six brothers and two sisters: Ivan Colledge, Pleasant Grove; Don Colledge, Lindon; Dean Colledge and-. "He was preceded in death by a daughter, : Nina Colledge. Funeral serv ices were held March 14 in the Wing Mortuary Chapel under the direction of Bishop ,. Dwayne Colledge. . Daryll -Colledge- offered of-fered the family prayer, and Ivan Eugene Colledge delivered the invocation. Speakers included Bishop Colledge; Victor D. Smith, who gave a biographical sketch ; and Raymond Smith. Musical numbers included Connie and Kenneth Grace, who sang "The Green Green Grass of Home" and "Riding Down the Canyon." Ralph Lavar Colledge gave the benediction. Prelude and posllude music was performed by Colleen Calton. Pallbearers were Bob White, John Colledge, Arthur McTague, Steve Bourgeois, Elwood (Boots) Sorenson and James Dupass. Honorary pallbearers were Victor Smith, Blaine Hardman, Danny Jenkins and Ab Sorenson. Interment was at the Lehi City Cemetery, where Earl Thomas dedicated the grave. Naomi Louise Fox Zabel, 79, died Friday, March 14, 1986 in Orem. She was born March 9, 1907 in Leeds, N.D. to William and Minnie Mildred Decker Fox. She married Donal F. Zabel June 20, 1930 in Minnewaukon, N.D. The marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. He died Oct. 3, 1974. She had been an active member of the LDS Church and had served as Relief Society Preisdent, Relief Jojiety teacher and visiting teacher. She attended schools in North Dakota and graduated from Dickinson State Teachers College and later taught school. Survivors include four sons: Keith D. Zabel, Newhope, Minn.; Kent G. Zabel, Har-wood, Har-wood, N.D.; K. Allen Zabel, Pleasant Grove; Robert L. Zabel, Gillette, Wyo.; 18 grandchildren; a brother and a sister: Galen Fox, Poulsbo, Wash.; Frances Ur-ness, Ur-ness, Leeds, N.D. A sister, Berniece preceded her in death. Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 19, at Olpin Family Mortuary. Additional funeral services and burial will be in Fargo, N.D. Elva J. Stevens Cobbley Card of Thanks We, the family of B. Clyde Strong gave the family prayer. Don Mower offered the invocation for the services. ser-vices. Speakers included Bishop Bert Alexander; Birdie Strong, who gave a life sketch; Dianne Cazier Cone, who read poems she had written; and Everett Hansen. Musical numbers included a medley of hymns by Thayne Bateman, Ronald Strong, Howard Adamson and Orris Olsen; "I Am a Child of God," sung by Angie Cazier, Amanda Cazier, Natalie Cazier, Judyann Burdick, Amberly Burdick and Heather Burdick, accompanied by Marcie Cazier; and a piano solo by Ida Clark. Prelude and postlude music was performed by Betty Johnson. Bill Mower gave the benediction. Casket bearers were Paul Strong, Ray Strong, Michael Strong, Clark Strong, DeLloyd Cazier Jr., Dean Strom, Steve Mower and Mike Mower. Burial was in the Alpine City Cemetery, where Dallas C. Strong dedicated the grave. Elva Helena Judd Stevens, 86, of Genola, died Thursday, March 13, 1986 at her home. She was born Dec. 8, 1899 in Colonia Chuichupa Chic, Mexico, to John Jerome and Cynthia Amanda Brown Judd. She married David Johnson Stevens July 6, 1924 in Colonia Chuichupa Chic, Mexico. The marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. He died Oct. 31, 1968. She was an active member of the LDS Church living in the Genola Second Ward. She had served in the Relief Society presidency, Primary, Sunday School and a a teacher in the MIA. She had been a visiting teacher for many years. She had lived in Oasis, Hinckley, Pleasant Grove, and Old Mexico before moving to Genola several years ago and has lived there since. Survivors include three sons and seven daughters: Mrs. Don H. (Naomi) Smith, Salt Lake; David E. Stevens, Mrs. Richard (Marie) Thornton and Mrs. R.L. (Virginia) Shepherd, all Genola; Mrs. James L. (Manda Lee) Haider and Millard Laurence Stevens, both Billings, Mont.; Clyde Lamar Stevens, Hinckley; Verlene Turner, Payson; Elaine Peterson, Cyprus, Calif. ; Mrs. Dennis (Karyn Jean) Morelli, Wilton, Calif.; 62 grandchildren; 113 great grandchildren; five sisters and four brothers: Reta Lewis, El Paso, Texas; Hugh Judd, Sparks, Nev.; Elaine Renner, Tucson, Ariz.; Ada Whette nand Bill Judd, Colonia Juarez, Mexico; Maude Whetten, Mesa, Ariz.; Lee Judd, Hinckley; Lila Whetten, Orem; and Jess Judd, Granby, Tex. Funeral services were under 'the direction of Bishop M. Brent Davis of the Genola Second Ward. Pallbearers were Rulon 'Dee Stevens, Steven Smith, Russell Stevens, Gene Thornton, Thorn-ton, Philip Shepherd, James Haider, Jr., Marlow Peterson, and John Stevens. Honorary pallbearers were Jeff Morelli, Curtis Morelli, Fred Shepherd, Merliln Shepherd, Cory Shepherd, Robert Shepherd, Lavoy Shepherd, David Shepherd, Joseph David Turner, Randy Stevens, Raymond Stevens, Jess Stevens, Roger Thornton, Thorn-ton, Wayne Thornton, Neil Thornton, Lloyd Thornton, Dee Thorn ton, Ellis Thornton, Owen Thornton, Garth Stevens, Vance Stevens, Chris Stevens, Larry Stevens, David N. Stevens, Vincent Stevens, Eric Smith, Michael Smith and David Smith. The family prayer was by R. L. Shepherd, a son-in-law. Lori Dawn Durkey, a granddaughter, grand-daughter, played the prelude music. The grandchidlren sang "Love at Home." They were directed by Jerry Murphy and accompanied ac-companied by Elva Parker. Dennis Morelli, a son-in-law, gave the invocation in-vocation and Bishop Davis gave opening remarks. Speakers were sons, Clyde L. Stevens, M. Laurence Stevens and David E. Stevens. The great-grandchildren sang "Family Tree" and "Families Can Be Together Forever." The grandchildren grand-children sang "Love One Another". Bishp Davis gave closing remarks and Amy June Whetten, a granddaughter, played the postlude music. James L. Haider, son-in-law, gave the benediction. The grave was dedicated by Richard O.
